Thanks for this product, it's got me back into my yoga practice.

When my children were born I stopped going to yoga classes and tried to continue at home with the time I had. A friend of mine gave me these cards as a gift, saying it would help me get back into my yoga practice, which is exactly what it did. With these cards I can practice different sequences depending on the moment, and in a way that is comfortable wherever I go - as the packet is pocket size. The quality is important for me so I can see the asanas and their directions clearly so as not to force the posture - and these are shown perfectly. The simplicity that you explain each posture make these cards a wonderful aid that I don't hesitate to recommend. Thanks!

Just received my flash cards. Love them they are in color & have a description on the back but they also have arrows showing you what way body parts should be turned. And come in nice plastic case to keep them in. Deliver was fast and showed up before estimated time. Thank you so much they are great for a beginner like me.

A fun read of discovery.

Poor Jake.
He likes his guys Big.. Big Muscles, Big Build, Big Ego. Even Jake himself like to body build and lift weights to make himself Big.
And to add to all of the ego Jake has a Big list of female conquests to brag about. Just let any Gay try and flirt with him and Jake will put them in their place!!!

Then by a misplaced text message and an encounter with a fox who is also Big - Jake's life turns upside down and makes him rethink everything about himself.

An enjoyable read about coming out and acceptance of who you are.

Amazing Story!

Hello everyone! I just got finished reading "The Alpha Promise" by Hayat Ali and I really want the second installment of this story. It hasn't come out yet; however, according to the author's Facebook page, she hopes to have it completed by the year's end. :) I truly hope so because this book was awesome! Without giving away too many spoilers, here's what it's about:

Adina Carr moves to London with her boyfriend. Said boyfriend turns into ex-boyfriend and ditches her in London. Adina tries not to feel blue about that and continues to work so enough money can be saved so she can move back home to the States. Coming home one evening, Adina finds a bloody and torn-up man in her apartment building. Turns out that the man is a vampire and really needs her assistance in hiding from his enemies. The remaining story is about how they fall in love, are separated, and then reunited again.

Positives:
*This book involves many races (African American, White, Asian, and so forth) and the author does a fantastic job of blending them together and has respect for each
*The characters are well developed but not boring and predictable
*This was the author's first book and it can only get better (No pressure if you read this Ms. Ali-lol)

A couple of downsides:
*this story has an extremely abrupt ending
*a few spelling/grammar errors (it doesn't take away from the story at all but I can be a little picky when it comes to errors like that)
*the next installment is a little over a year away :( - I know, I know, I already mentioned that

The author does mention on her Facebook page that the next book may be "self-published" so hopefully some big-wig publishing company will read this and realize that they can have a star/money-maker in this author if they give her a chance.

Alpha's Promise delivers

I originally read the shorter ebook version called Mating Season and thought it was excellent enough to read numerous times, which I did by the way. Now I've finished the expanded and re-titled version and am thoroughly impressed with Ms. Ali's updated version. Jin and Adina are wonderful star-crossed lovers. I've fallen in love with Flaxon. If you're into vampire stories, this is an excellent one and if you're into I/R vampire romances, you definitely won't be disappointed. I am really looking forward to the next book in the vampire saga.

I liked this so much I will have to read it again.

I orignally purchased the shorter ebook version and impatiently waited for the release of the expanded version for approximately a year. This is an excellant book vewith good characterization (all the characters have human failings) which make them easy to identify with and emphatize with their plight. Anyone can read this book and enjoy.

Good Info. on a Fine Car

I'm an experienced DIY car guy who inherited my Dad's pristine 2003 Volvo V-2.4T wagon. Although I'll leave any major work to the pros, I needed all the basics for maintenance and minor repairs. This book does it! I've trusted Haynes manuals for many years on several cars and this edition has the familiar format, fixes accompanied by detailed photos, troubleshooting guides, etc. It's printed for the U.K. version, so driver's side is on the right, but Volvo builds for the world market, so it's virtually identical in other respects. Plus the manual will often state variances for Canadian models or changes made in certain model years. Not as specific as a true shop manual from Volvo, but if you're looking for one overall source for a modest price, this could be your book.

Very disappointed with this manual. I have another one of these Haynes manuals for my 2005 Chysler and its way better then this. The reason I purchased this manual was because of the other Haynes manual. The pictures are way to small and the way its laid out is very disjointed.

for the European version's of Volvo car's
But I knew this when I ordered it Haynes
doesn't print a US version of this book I
don't know why all torque specs are in
European spec's but the repair procedures
as the US version's of Volvo's cars.

This volume is the catalog that accompanied the Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition of 15th-century Sienese painting last winter. The artists represented are not widely known because of their secondary importance to the historical development of Italian Renaissance art. Although the reproductions are numerous and engaging, the introductory essays presuppose some knowledge of Italian art and political history, making the volume less accessible to general readers than Glenn Andres et al.'s recent The Art of Florence ( LJ 9/15/89). The annotations to the plates summarize previous scholarship and present the authors' opinions in this still-evolving area of study. While this book is an important addition for research collections, it may be considered optional for smaller libraries and general collections.

Long lasting pleasure

Great book for Siena art. 22 artists represented. 100 big color pages in a 400 page book. 74 pages on Giovanni di Paolo alone. 30 pages on Sassetta. 22 different artists plus. Many of these artists do not have monographs available. If there is a book dedicated to their work, is is often very expensive. This volume makes a wealth of material available - all in one place. The color is saturated, printed in Italy in 1988. The writing is not difficult but it may be more than you want to know - that is not a bad thing. There is a love and dedication to this period that comes through. Paid $9.40 for this long lasting pleasure.
